OVERVIEW OF NAIROBI TOUR

This all-day excursion is a great way to start or finish your safari in East Africa. On the outskirts of Nairobi, visit Nairobi National Park to look for animals. Lunch at a neighborhood eatery followed by a trip to the Karen Blixen Museum. Come see the rare Rothschild giraffe up close at the Giraffe Center.

Watch the young elephants playing in the mud as the keepers give you a lecture about each one of them, describing their names and the circumstances surrounding their orphanage.

Nairobi National Park Tour, Baby Elephant Giraffes, and Karen Blixen Museum Tour Itinerary
7 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Nairobi National Park Tour – Enjoy wildlife game viewing at Nairobi National Park, including intimate encounters with lions and rhinos, among other animals.
1100hrs – 1200hrs: Visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where young orphaned elephants are brought after being rescued and fed until they are grown enough to be released into the wild.
1200 – 1300 hrs: Visit the Giraffe Centre and feed the gentle Rothschild Giraffe. They receive a kiss as they pick their food from your hands! En route, stop at some shopping locations.
1300-1400 hrs: You take a lunch break at the Utamaduni-Verandah restaurant (paid directly by the customer based on their menu selection). A little window browsing.
1400hrs-1500hrs: Visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the home featured in the film Out of Africa.En approach, stop to look at the kazuri beads.
1500hrs – 1700hrs: Visit Kenyan Bomas – Nairobi In Langata, Nairobi, Tribal Toura Place has been designated as a tourist community. Bomas (homesteads) depict traditional communities from various Kenyan tribes. Enjoy local tradition dances and acrobats, and clients participate in the celebration of local culture!
1630hrs: drop off at airport for onward journey / hotel for well-deserved rest.
