Overview

 Have best 5 days in Uganda, it’s possible to visit two of the country’s most famous national parks: Kibale National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Here’s a suggested itinerary for your trip:

Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be met by a driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your journey.

Day 2: Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, which is located in western Uganda. The drive takes about 5 hours, so you’ll arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk in the park to see the chimpanzees and other primates. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Kibale National Park

Early in the morning, take a guided chimpanzee trek in the forest. You’ll have the opportunity to see these incredible animals up close and observe their behavior in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit a nearby community to learn about local culture and traditions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is home to Uganda’s mountain gorillas. The drive takes about 5-6 hours, but the scenery along the way is stunning. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, and in the afternoon, take a guided nature walk in the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Early in the morning, set out for gorilla trekking in the forest. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as you’ll be able to observe the gorillas in their natural habitat and learn about their behavior and social structure from your guide. After trekking, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation before departing for Kampala, arriving in the evening.

This itinerary will give you a taste of Uganda’s incredible natural beauty and wildlife in just five days. However, do note that gorilla trekking permits need to be booked in advance, and availability is limited, so it’s best to plan your trip well ahead of time.
