Day 1: Walking from Nairobi to Lake Bogoria

Depart Nairobi at 0700 hours and drive to Bogoria as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift valley to Lake Bogoria- we arrive Lake Bogoria country club in good time for lunch “ drive to the south to lake Bogoria game reserve, we drop at the park gate, Where accompanied by game ranger we start our walk 3-4 hours walk towards Southern of lake Bogoria, Connect with our safari vehicle at the hot springs, then return to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Walking from Lake Bogoria

An early breakfast followed by a trip to the hot springs and a packed lunch before leaving the hostel, The springs shoot more higher as 15 -18ft in the morning,; CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN WHILE WALKING NEAR THE HOT SPRINGS AS THESE ARE SUPER HOT;We proceed south to the end while we turn to east side of the lake, whole day is spent walking in open savannah with scattered bushes and we have the chance to see the greater kudu, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles as well as zebras, monkeys and baboons. Dinner and a night’s accommodation at a hotel in Lake Bogoria.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Lake Bogoria

Leaving early in the morning for Lake Naivasha, followed by a game viewing walk on Crescent Island, a peninsula on the lake’s eastern shore that is privately held. There are many easily observable animals, including giraffes, wildebeests, waterbucks, elands, zebras, and impalas. With over 200 species documented, it is also a haven for birds. Staying the night at Sawela Lodge for dinner

 

Day 4: From Hells Gate to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, visitors should bring prepared lunches to the nearby Hells Gate national park. The area can be toured on foot or by bicycle, which can be rented for an additional fee. Drive to Nairobi and leave Hells Gate at 1500 hours in order to get there by 1700 hours. Drop-off at your home is where the safari comes to a close.

The location of Hell’s Gate is just beyond Lake Naivasha. Visitors have the option of driving, walking, camping, cycling, and rock climbing within the park, which is renowned for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding sites, and these activities. The Central Tower, Njorowa Gorges, and Fischer’s Tower, which was once a volcano’s cap, are noteworthy viewing locations.  Olkaira and Hobley’s are two dormant volcanoes that are worthwhile visits.

Fissures in the volcanic rock are the source of natural steam sources. The striking black glassy rock known as obsidian, which is created when molten lava cools, is a highlight of this terrain.

Hyrax, bison, Masai giraffe, eland, Coke’s hartebeest, lion, leopard, and some cheetah are among the resident animals that can be viewed. The cliffs at Hell’s Gate are a sanctuary for ornithologists and rock climbers as well as a breeding ground for vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzards, and tens of thousands of swifts. In total, 103 different bird species have been identified there. We had dinner and stayed the night at Fish Eagle Camp.
