Day 2 Tarangire National Park
Our private safari guide will pick you up from your accommodations in Arusha in the morning. On a good tarmac road that crossed slightly rolling Maasai plains with sporadic acacia trees, we headed toward Tarangire National Park. As we speed along, we past a lot of Maasai in their vibrant clothing walking alongside the road, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and pulling carts pulled by donkeys. Numerous other animals can be found in the Tarangire National Park, which is well known for its sizable elephant populations. We explore the seasonal swamps, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River from the open top of our cutting-edge safari vehicle in an effort to spot a variety of animals, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. It’s conceivable.
You will travel to one of our hand-picked luxury partner lodges where supper will be served in a classy restaurant with a pool nearby to relax us.
Accommodation : Maraboi Tented lodge
Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park
We will resume your incredible safari in Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast. The shallow salt lake that makes up about 70% of the surface area of this comparatively small but varied park, 120km west of Arusha, gave it its name. The soda lake, which floods and dries with the seasons, is home to over 500 different bird species, including hundreds of flamingos. We’ll see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, hopefully, lions relaxing in the trees as we explore the area. The park is renowned for its varied topography, which includes cliffs covered in baobab trees, as well as open, grassy plains and woodlands home to primates. Following yet another memorable wildlife drive, we returned home with vivid memories of our journey and the African continent.
Accommodation : kitela lodge
Day 4 Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you will travel to the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people produce wheat and corn. We’ll travel through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might see baboons, leopards, and elephants in the dense undergrowth. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before continuing on to the Serengeti National Park, which you will arrive by midday. The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s largest park, with varied landscapes and habitats such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains. After an extensive game drive, you will be driven to your accommodation for supper and an overnight stay.
Accommodation : Lahia Tented lodge
Day 5 Serengeti National Park
Game drives on the Serengeti are scheduled for this full day. The Serengeti is best known for its vast herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest that migrate each year. The Serengeti is home to a variety of animals, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippopotamuses. The journey of the animals changes from year to year and is influenced by the rainfall. The animals migrate in November and December from the northern region, which is characterized by hills and forests, to the southern region’s grassy plains. They move back to the north during the extended rainy season, which lasts from April to June. In addition to the migratory groups, we might get the chance to observe the local predators, such as the lion, cheetah, and leopard, as they play their part in the cycle of life.
We will head back to Lahia Tented Camp for some downtime, supper, and our overnight stay on The Endless Plain after an unforgettable day.
Accommodation : Lahia Tented lodge
Day 6 Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater
You will travel from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater after brunch.
Ngorongoro Crater seems like a lost universe when you first see it. A pristine wilderness with expansive savannah, isolated areas of acacia forest, and shimmering lakes and swamps is hidden by the precipitous volcanic walls. Two to three million years ago, a sizable volcano erupted, collapsing in on itself to form The Crater.
When you arrive at the Crater floor, you are immediately surrounded by huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 different bird species. The drive down into the Crater is an adventure in and of itself. The Crater gives you the greatest opportunity to see the critically endangered black rhino, which can occasionally be seen in the open.
