Overview

Day 1 –Nairobi – Amboseli

Arrive in Amboseli early in the afternoon after leaving Nairobi in the morning and traveling via Namanga on the Tanzanian frontier. As we travel to the campsite for supper and the night, we see game. The spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern border is a major factor in this small park’s popularity, which makes it Kenya’s second most visited park after Masai Mara (at 392 sq km).

Day 2 – Amboseli National park

We spend the day touring this area. A green belt of swampland is formed amidst dusty plains when the waters from melted snow drain down the mountain beneath lava flows and emerge on the Amboseli plains. Elephants, bison, lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, jackals, hyenas, warthogs, zebra, and Maasai giraffes are among the animals that may be seen in this area.

Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most visited animal refuges. It is located not far from Kenya. The Park is near to the Kenya-Tanzania border and is located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain (5,896 meters), whose snow-capped summit offers spectacular views on clear days. Many people refer to Amboseli National Park as “The home of Elephants” because some of the biggest elephant herds can be located there. Large herds of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and antelopes can also be found in the game park. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and numerous kinds of plain game are also present in Amboseli.

Day 3 Amboseli – Tsavo West National park

Leave for Tsavo West National Park, which is approximately halfway between Nairobi and the Coast, after an early breakfast. Hippos and alligators love to hang out at Mzima Springs, the area’s main wonder. After a picnic lunch, go on a wildlife drive in the evening to see huge herds of antelope, including many different types of antelope, as well as elephants, buffalo, eland, and rhinos. Dinner and accommodation at a camp or hostel

Day 4: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National park

Soon after breakfast, we dismantle the tent and head to Tsavo East National Park. As we leave the forest, we see some game. This park was renowned for its expansive groups of red-dust-coated elephants and lovely surroundings. If time allows, we stop at the picturesque Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (which draws elephants during the dry season), and Aruba Dam while viewing game. Dinner and a night spent at a campground or hostel

Day 5: Tsavo East National park

I spent the entire day touring the park. Game drives are provided in the morning and the afternoon. Dinner and a camping trip overnight. Despite having one of Kenya’s biggest rivers running through it, the terrain in Tsavo East is flatter and drier. The Galana River, which is home to numerous crocodiles and hippos, is where most of the wildlife is located. Along the river margins, Kudus, waterbucks, and dik-diks are also typical.
